Barbican strengthens professional indemnity offering

Christopher White joins Barbican Insurance Group

London, 29 April 2013 - Barbican Group Holdings Limited today announces the appointment of Christopher White as a professional indemnity Underwriter at Barbican Insurance Group.

Mr. White’s underwriting remit will span a broad spectrum of coverage types and will encompass both the UK and International markets. He will report directly to Daniel Prince, professional indemnity underwriting manager at Barbican Insurance Group.

Prior to joining Barbican, Mr. White was a professional indemnity underwriter at CNA Insurance Company Limited, a position which he held for five years. He has also worked for First City Partnership Limited as a Broker/Account Manager, as well as for Dickson Manchester & Co Limited where he was a Placing Broker.

Commenting on the appointment, Stuart Quinlan, head of specialty, said: “Chris brings with him over twelve years experience in the London and Lloyd’s professional indemnity market. During this time, he has established an excellent reputation for building long-term successful relationships with both brokers and clients alike. We are delighted to be able to welcome him into the Barbican team.”
