Ondine joined Barbican in March 2011 and is head of insurance, overseeing Syndicate 1955's insurance lines.
When she joined Barbican, she was originally responsible for US Casualty treaty. Over time, her responsibilities expanded to include International Casualty treaty, Healthcare and A&H insurance and more recently she moved solely to insurance lines.
Prior to joining the company, she was at Faraday Syndicate 435 where she wrote a lead book of US casualty reinsurance and hospital business.
Ondine brings over twenty years extensive experience of underwriting to Barbican after graduating with an MSc in insurance and risk management at CASS Business School.
George joined Barbican in September 2015 and is an underwriter for North American casualty treaty.
George joined Barbican after graduating from Exeter University with a degree in Economics. George completed five separate work experience stints at Barbican during his 6th form and university holidays.
Natalie joined Barbican in April 2017 and is underwriting assistant for North American casualty treaty.
Natalie holds an Integrated Master's degree in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Leeds.
Lucy joined Barbican in January 2014 and is now head of North American casualty reinsurance.
Lucy was previously at Aspen Re and, prior to her departure, was the acting lead underwriter for the US casualty department in London. Lucy has worked across a broad range of treaty and facultative reinsurance lines, including medical malpractice, hospitals, professional liability and general liability. Lucy spent eight and a half years at Aspen, having joined immediately after graduating from university with a degree in economics with actuarial studies.
Lucy is ACII qualified.
