Ondine joined Barbican in March 2011 and is head of insurance, overseeing Syndicate 1955's insurance lines.

Prior to joining the company, she was at Faraday Syndicate 435 where she wrote a lead book on US casualty reinsurance.

Ondine brings over fifteen years extensive experience of treaty underwriting to Barbican. After an MSc in insurance and risk management at CASS Business School, she joined Zurich Re in 1997 to train on the property side. In 1999, Ondine joined Alea in London and moved on to casualty, underwriting both treaty and binding authority business.

Tim joined Barbican in April 2014 and is underwriting manager for international casualty reinsurance.

Tim was previously at Faraday Re for nine years, where he was an international casualty treaty underwriter and worked across a broad spectrum of business classes. These included motor, general liability and professional indemnity; spanning the UK, Europe, Australasia and the Caribbean. Prior to this, Tim spent two years at Royal Sun Alliance. He joined immediately after graduating with a degree in geography from University College London.

Tim is ACII qualified and holds Chartered Insurer status.

Rachel joined Barbican in November 2009 and is a class underwriter for international casualty treaty.

Rachel joined Barbican immediately after graduating from the University of Manchester with a degree in Business Management.

Rachel is ACII  qualified and a committee member of the Under 35s Reinsurance Group.

Oliver joined Barbican in November 2011 and is assistant underwriter for international casualty reinsurance.

Prior to this role, Oliver spent 4 years in Barbican's north american casualty reinsurance team.

Oliver is ACII qualified. Oliver also holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Leeds.

Prior to joining Barbican, Tim worked as an assistant underwriter at Markel International. He also holds a degree in business studies from Cass Business School, City University London.
