Simon joined Barbican in April 2010 and is head of reinsurance, overseeing Syndicate 1955's reinsurance lines.
Simon has over twenty years of experience in the insurance industry. In 1994 he joined a small firm of management consultants dedicated to the insurance industry. 1997 saw Simon return to broking with the international marine reinsurance division at Aon.
In 2005, he joined Agnew Higgins Pickering, working in international marine and energy reinsurance.
Rachel joined Barbican in November 2009 and is a class underwriter for international casualty treaty.
Rachel joined Barbican immediately after graduating from the University of Manchester with a degree in Business Management.
Rachel is ACII qualified and a committee member of the Under 35s Reinsurance Group.
Oliver joined Barbican in November 2011 and is underwriter for international casualty reinsurance.
Prior to joining the international treaty team in 2017, Oliver spent 4 years in Barbican's North American casualty reinsurance team.
Oliver is ACII qualified and holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Leeds.
Tim joined Barbican in April 2017 and is underwriting assistant for international casualty treaty.
Prior to joining Barbican, Tim worked as an assistant underwriter at Markel International. He also holds a degree in business studies from Cass Business School, City University London.
