Marine insurance and reinsurance is in Harvey Jacobs’ blood. He spent over 20 underwriting years at Swiss Re UK and ended up as their Head of Marine Underwriting.

In 2004, Harvey moved on—to join Endurance Worldwide as Underwriting Manager for their Marine Reinsurance division with a brief to establish and develop their reinsurance account in London.

A mark of his standing in the business, Harvey is current Chair of the Joint Excess Loss Committee—having been a member since the mid 1990’s.
