The Barbican legal and claims team supports Risk and Governance by monitoring and advising on regulatory requirements relevant to our business and to management generally.

Led by Stephen Britt, the work of the team covers a wide range of corporate and commercial contracts and transactions, including the provision of legal advice on claims disputes. We work closely with Barbican's underwriters, and other relevant functions, to maintain the level and quality of claims reporting and management information within the business.

Additionally, with the underwriting management team, we monitor and review Barbican's external panel of legal advisers and adjusters.
