Ian Jones has over 20 years experience in the insurance industry, with a strong focus on marketing and communications throughout his career.

 

Joining Barbican at its launch at the end of 2007, Ian headed the UK SME team, building a substantial portfolio as well as handling marketing communications. He moved into his current Group position in August 2009.

Chartis lead crash cover

Chartis broked the $30m hull cover for the Aires Boeing 737-700 that split in two landing in Columbia on 16th August. There were 121 people passengers and six crew on board but only two fatalities originally reported.
