Meeting Lloyd’s standards

As a Lloyd’s syndicate, we have a statutory responsibility to manage claims to the highest standards. After its 2004 claims review, Lloyd’s set out stringent criteria to which all syndicates must conform – and Lloyd’s actively oversees market performance against those standards.

Barbican’s claims service is delivered through Davies Managed Systems (DMS) and Devonshire Claims Services Ltd (DCS).

 

DMS  provide a 24/7 operation covering the whole of the UK. They have over 80 claims handlers, all experienced insurance people in their own right, who work in dedicated teams focusing on specific business classes and type of loss.

 

DMS is a highly professional set-up with expertise far superior to a standard call-centre. DCS is a commercial liability claims management operation based in London and 50 staff based in offices World-wide. DCS specialise in the proactive management of claims emanating from Professional Indemnity and General Liability.
